Evaluation of Nitrate Retention Additives for Developing Environmentally Friendly Manures

Abstract: Activated carbon is a readily available material that can be added to fertilizers or manures to reduce nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N) contamination of surface and near-surface groundwater.
